Evidence of lucent upper lobes in both lungs suggests emphysema. In addition, diffuse pleural thickenings with pleural calcifications present in the right middle and lower thorax. Linear atelectasis or fibrotic scars also present in the left lower lobe. Although the patient stated no history of asbestos exposure, asbestos exposure might have occurred while installing boilers.Back to article page
